EMERGENCY DENTAL PROCEDURES
1. Oral-facial trauma
2. Significant infection
3. Prolonged bleeding
4. Pain which cannot be managed by over the counter medications,
5. Management of known/high risk malignancy.

URGENT DENTAL PROCEDURES
Urgent dental care focuses on the management of conditions that require immediate attention to relieve pain and if left untreated may significantly compromise patient dental health, such as:
5. Severe dental pain from pulpal inflammation
6. Pericoronitis or third-molar pain
7. Surgical post-operative osteitis and dry socket dressing changes
8. Abscess, or localized bacterial infection resulting in localized pain and swelling 9. Tooth fracture resulting in pain or causing soft tissue trauma
10. Dental trauma with avulsion/luxation
11. Dental treatment required prior to critical medical procedures
12. Final crown/bridge cementation
13. Active sleep apnea management
14. Extensive dental caries or defective restorations causing pain or that can lead to pain
15. Suture removal
16. Denture adjustment on radiation/oncology patients
17. Denture adjustments or repairs when function impeded
18. Replacing temporary filling on endo access openings in patients experiencing pain or an endodontically treated tooth with a high fracture potential 19. Pre-surgical clearance for medical procedures
20. Managing active orthodontic cases
